Sutherlin FFA Members Compete in Vet Science and Ag Sales

Last Monday, November 13, students from across the county met at Sutherlin High School to compete in two different competitions. Some students were competing in Vet Science: a career development event which includes a written test, math test, writing prompt, animal handling, and clinical practicums. Other students were competing in Ag Sales which involves selling various products in several different simulations.

Overall, Sutherlin did well in these two career development events. There were beginning and advanced teams for both Vet Science and Ag Sales. Sutherlin will be sending both a Vet Science team and an Ag Sales team to the state competition in Hermiston this weekend. Here are the results:
